AR-assisted architectural installation exhibited at SCI-Arc Gallery, Los Angeles. A full-scale steam-bent hardwood structure fabricated using holographic guides — exploring the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and augmented reality construction.

The Concept — Craft Augmented
The exhibition is built around the idea that augmented reality reinvigorates traditional craftsmanship rather than replacing it — merging the precision of digital modelling with the material intelligence of hand skills. The centrepiece is a steam-bent hardwood structure assembled using primitive hand tools guided by holographic overlays, allowing workers to fabricate highly varied components with the formal complexity of computational design. The project directly evolves the methodology developed for the 2019 Tallinn Biennale Steampunk Pavilion, expanding it into fully inhabitable architectural space.
The Role — Exhibition Film
As video editor on the project, I produced the documentation films that became the primary media through which the exhibition reached global audiences — including the real-time AR walkthrough film, the exhibition walkthrough, and the livestream event recording. The films translated a physically complex spatial and technical experience into clear, atmospheric visual narratives, covering fabrication process, spatial occupation, and the AR interface in action.
